A "consumer" is any natural person who places an order for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 BGB). Some of the rules below apply to consumers only, as stated.
Preorders
Our products are currently offered as preorders. This means you order now and receive your products once they are ready for pickup or delivery.
First batch pre-order: pre-orders for our first batch close on 15 November 2026. Local delivery and pickup start on 30 November 2026, and all local deliveries will be completed by 14 December 2026. We'll email you when your order is ready; please wait for this ready-for-pickup confirmation before collecting.
When payment is taken: Payment is collected at checkout, including for pre-orders. The exact processing time may vary depending on the payment method selected.
If the expected period changes, we'll let you know by email without undue delay. Your statutory rights in the event of a delay remain unaffected.
How Your Order Becomes a Contract
The products shown in our shop are not a binding offer by us, but an invitation for you to place an order.
Ordering step by step: add the products you want to your cart, go to checkout, choose pickup or local delivery, enter your details and choose a payment method. Before you submit, you'll see a summary of your order, where you can review everything and correct any input errors using the edit options in the checkout or your browser's back button. By clicking the final order button, you place a binding order.
After you place your order, we'll send you an order confirmation by email. The contract is concluded when this order confirmation email reaches you.
Contract language: English.
Your copy: the details of your order are sent to you in your order confirmation email. These terms are available on this page at any time.
Prices & Payment
All prices are in euros (€). The price shown with the product at the time of your order applies.

Pickup & Delivery
You can collect your order for free at Genthiner Str. 51, 10785 Berlin, Germany, or choose local delivery to an address in an eligible Berlin postcode or in postcode 16540. We'll email you pickup timing and instructions once your order is ready; please wait for this ready-for-pickup confirmation before you come by.
We currently only deliver to eligible Berlin postcodes and postcode 16540. We don't offer parcel shipping within Germany, the EU or internationally. All details are on our Shipping & Delivery page.
Retention of Title
The products remain our property until they have been paid for in full.
Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. You'll find the full withdrawal information and the model withdrawal form on our Right of Withdrawal page.
Statutory exceptions may apply to certain sealed products after their hygiene seal has been removed. Please see our Right of Withdrawal page for details.
Defects & Warranty
The statutory rights for defects (gesetzliche Mängelhaftung) apply. If something is wrong with your order, please contact us at hey@mygarlicboy.com or +49 176 4181 7000.
Consumer Dispute Resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
Applicable Law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
